Wow, Jase that was quite the post. Unfortunately for us we were not able to make the trip down to Toronto this year. We went to Montreal for xmas and the drive down was harsh on Tarra's neck so we opted not to take the 5 hour trip down the 401! We are home tonight just celebrating together with Johnny. Wish we were in Toronto with the crew! Miss you guys!

Jase, that's fantastic news about being an uncle but WTF...good luck Nels? That could be read many ways but I am going to go with the only thing that makes sense and that is Nancy is expecting again! That's awesome news! Congrats to everyone....

Merry Belated Christmas everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I just have nothing important to say.

Lets start off by asking how everyone's Christmas went? Mine was SUPER! Let me tell you why:

First: Got to hang out in Toronto with the family. I haven't done that in ages and it felt good. I missed it and I hope I can do it more in 2010.

Second: I made off like a BANDIT this year. Santa was very good to me. My parents got me a couch, My brother and sister and the rest of the family got me a vacuum. The Futureshop Boxing day sales got me a surround sound system. And then to my surprise, my lovely future wife went a little nutty and got me a 40" 1080p LCD TV!!!!! I couldn't believe it. I told her it was too much, but there was no turning back once it was in the living room. I still have to fully test it, but 40" is just the right size. She really is the best future wife So now my living room is complete! When are you guys coming over to check 'er out?

Third: I finally got to meet the mysterious, name hidden in blog posts Laurie! We didn't get to interact too much as I wasn't feeling the best and was kind of a recluse, but I could see based on my first impressions and my how close her and my sister have gotten that she's a great girl. I'm happy for my brother however I do feel kind of sorry for her. The funniest part is how curious Sheree was in all of this. I think she's asked me more questions about her then anyone else. Now I really feel sorry for Laurie, having to put up with Nelson, and knowing that Sheree has a million questions just waiting for her if they ever meet. Good luck!

Fourth (and probably the best reason): I found out a few days before Christmas that I'm going to be an uncle again. It was a complete shock but a welcomed one. Good luck Nels... you're gonna need it

I got back from the great warm non snowy city of Toronto on Monday night and had to work Tuesday morning. It's ridiculously quiet here at work, so I've been leaving "earlier" this week. It sucks I have to work because I really wanted to go to Toronto for the big New Years extravaganza! My boss says I can maybe leave early today, but since it's End of year I'm pretty much on call until 6-7pm (which is a welcome change from the midnight of last year). So far I don't have plans for tonight which is kind of sad. One of my friends is in Toronto, the other had a family member pass away recently and is staying in with the family for new years and the other is going away as well. I think it may be a quiet new years eve with just me, the missus, Rogan (Sheree's brothers dog who she is taking care of this week), and the 40" TV I can't complain, any evening with Sheree is celebration in itself She even promised to stay up passed 9:30 tonight, so you know it's gonna be a crazy night....

I hope this isn't the last post of 2009, but if it is, I'll see you guys in 2010. Happy New year everyone, have fun but more importantly BE SAFE.

Hello everyone. Sorry its been a crazy time around here getting ready for today.

Dino, I'm happy you joined the Hyundai family but honestly I hope you don't have the same adventures I had back with my 2 beasts. And considering Hyundai's come with heated seats pretty much shows you that the company has changed quite a bit since my day... I barley had Windshield defrosters and now you have seat warmers!!! But come on... a 4x4 without 4x4.... at least those seat warmers will keep your ass warm while waiting for the tow truck!!! (Sorry Mark, but I had to)
But all kidding aside, glad you got the new car, I wish I could get the balls to do it myself. I've got this relationship with my cars and getting rid of them has always been tough. So I'll wait till this one dies... or kills me... either way its going to be a mess break up.

And New Years..... I'll post more in the next two days but its shaping up to be a good one once again (I say this with no info what so ever, but I know that we're all together then its going to be a blast)

And I think Jason should post next... We got an early Xmas gift that I was holding on too but he just got the other day. So take it away....

Mark, the seat warmers are on both front seats and I am definitely enjoy them! Nothing like having a toasty warm buttock...Our car is silver and yes I have seen the Genesis and it is sweet! Very expensive but very nice.

I am looking forward to New Years, can't wait to party!

So I know that it is the holiday season and everyone is out busy Christmas shopping but common people...write something! I am fed up of looking at my old post. That's crazy Ed, I can't believe that your grandfather is 90!! That guy is just made from solid rock, takes a kicking and keeps on ticking....

As for little johnny, he has not forgotten you Ed, he talks about you all the time. Let's get together for lunch next week if you are free..

I agree with Sheree, I believe you will make a great dad and let's not forget Liz, she will be an awesome mom. Enjoy the gaming while it lasts, cause after the birth, you will have sleepless nights and burping a baby to worry about. Won't be much time for anything else at the beginning. Things start getting better 1.5 to 2 years later...Word of advice, as the saying goes, don't wake a sleeping baby. The stupid pediatrician we had for Johnny told us to wake him up every two hours to feed him and for the first two years he never slept through the night because he was waking up to feed.

Going to pick up our new car tomorrow..yes it's a new car and Nelson, I know I told you never to buy new because of depreciation and such but the crazy prices dealers are offering and the low interest rates on financing makes it worthwhile. I compared buying a $15,000 car with 8% interest (which is the best rate I could get with a bank for a used car) plus taxes, you end up paying $24 K after 5 years....We bought a car for a little more but 0% interest and voila you get a 2009. With the current cash incentives and the fact that I was able to negotiate more of a discount, we ended up paying 5K less for the car and it's fully loaded with leather. Bumper to bumper warranty for 5 years....there goes all the headaches.

Ya, I totally miss that little guy; going on almost a year now since I've seen him... Hope he doesn't forget his uncle Eddie!

So I'm gonna head over to the new place and do some more painting, I took the day off tomorrow as well so hopefully I can finish by the weekend. If I remember I'll snap a pic or two with the phone and post it.

Thanks for all the congrats and kind words. Ya, we're both really excited! Working now on getting the new place ready, went and got 5 gallons of paint last night and I'm going to start painting the baseboards and windows frames at the new place tonight. All that and we still have to pack the old apartment. So much to do in so little time!

Jase, Bahamas on business? What kind of business would have you in the Bahamas for 6 days, did I totally misunderstand and that's just a personal trip? If not then HMPH, I wanna go to the Bahamas on business *stomps feet*. Yup, that just came from the guy that's going to be a dad soon...lol.

I'm glad you brought up video games too, what games were they? I recently finished Modern Warfare 2 on the 360 and wow! To put it simply, it's pretty much the best game ever made! I still can’t get that airport level out of my head, it's one of those great moments in videogaming that will stay with you forever, like the first level of Contra or the original Mario bros.

Wow, this was completely shocking. Congrats to Eddie and Liz, you guys are going to make great parents. I wish you guys all the best. It should be quite an adventure!

There's nothing new on my end. Been procrastinating on this wedding stuff like crazy and really enjoying living alone (albeit it's a little lonely sometimes). Sheree's rarely there which gives me time to catch up on my ps3 time. I've finished 2 games in 2 months, I haven't done that since the early days of university.

I'm travelling for work a lot, this Friday I leave for a 6 day trip to the Bahamas Don't be playa hating
