Those music videos are pretty good--and those songs are actually catchy!!
But I must say that nothing makes me laugh harder than a stupid cat video. That one with the box made my stomach hurt from laughing so much!

Later people.

Author's display

I was waiting for something to download (porn) and so I started browsing youtube videos and I think I hit the MOTHERLOAD!!!

I found this channel call UZTV (Uncharted Zone)

Its what seems to be that next reiteration of Public Access TV. I know technically that would be all of youtube, but Nooooo this channel is literally like Public access TV only its devoted to music.

It has some of the best music videos I have ever seen! And they even have their own STARS! Right now my Favorite is VOMIT GUN, but my Hero is MARK GORMLEY.... here's one of his awesome videos....

and here is a long ass interview with this legend....

At least fast forward to 3:37 and then to 5:08 to see the best questions... but the whole interview is awesome!!!

And for you Lady Lovers.... check this Hott Mama out in the hit single JESUS CHRIST IS COMING

D,

Glad you enjoyed that video. I had a RockBand session last night and it was pretty close to that video. I got all sweaty and the shirts came off... but thats nothing new, me and Mark take our shirts off just to watch Law & Order... and poor Tanya had to witness it... oh well...

I found this video and thought of our resident Cat people. Maybe I should look into a cat... they seem to entertain themselves with the simplest of things....

I watched the Rockband clip and couldn't help laughing thinking we probably looked and sounded worse than that. Although some of us (me)had difficulties with the guitar and the singing, I love that game!

Nothing much to report, Habs lost 4 games and were swept by the Bruins. Sucks but everyone predicted it would happen.

Talk to you homos and lesbos soon!

Thanks for the B-Day wishes Jase and Sheree! Thanks to Mark and Nels too for the phone calls, you guys are awesome, I was quite surprised by how many people remembered... I had an awesome B-Day this year, just kind of took it easy, Liz and I went for lunch at my mom's place and then had an awesome steak dinner! It was followed up with what was hands down the BEST, I said the BEST home made black forest cake I have ever tasted in my life! What I didn't expect at all was all the B-Day love that came across the wire in the form of Facebook wall posts and phone calls etc. Maybe I'm getting softer in my old age but it made me feel all warm inside, oh wait, that may have been the wine...lol.

So this is 32, so far so good!

PS - Got called back for a second appointment at the sleep clinic to try the machine, then a third appointment to see a specialist... Hmmm, I wonder if they found a problem last time? :)

Never a dull moment in your life Nelson....I can't believe you left us hanging like that. I can't believe there is a Raccoon in your basement. I take that as a sign to pack up and move out, someone else wants to move in.

Btw, what do you expect to accomplish by throwing a garbage bin over the animal. It will make it's way out and will run loose around the house further endangering the children.

Ah memories of Mr. Racoon being run over by Chris' car...Sorry Mr. Raccoon. Or the time we were camping and the raccoon with big balls kept eating our food.

Enjoy the adventure and please post soon!

Now I know what the Croc Hunter went through

Author's display

So Thursday for some reason I was in a Genesis kinda mood. I spent all day listening to anything by Phil Collins. Don't ask me why, I just did.

So here I am around 5pm doing some mad chair dance moves to

ring.com/o/48f3f305ad1283e4/49e82feffd454373/48f3f3053cbe0b4e/eadc4834" />

When all of a sudden I hear some noises outside my window. I lean my chair back to check but see nothing, so I continue my sitting running man.

A few seconds later the noise is back, so I lower the volume to try and zero in on it. Now I can tell its coming from behind my bar, and this is no regular noise... is the sound of SHARP nails RIPPING through wood!!!

I get up and carefully walk towards the bar....

It sounds like its either something trying to get into the house or something trying to get out.. but its definitely something... and something BIG and FEROCIOUS!

Now I'm a lover off all animals. I can't say any of them "scare" me, but what I don't like is shit jumping out at me... animal or human... I've become quite jumpy over the years (probably do to the fear of Nancy walking in on me while romanticizing... myself :-/) so the only thing that was freaking me out was the idea of waking up at night only to find a rat nibbling on my goatee. So this meant I needed to find whatever this CREATURE was before bedtime.

We've had plenty of mice in this house, so we've gotten pretty good at capturing them. I prefer the catch and release method, while Tony is a strong believer in the "whatever kills slower and more painful" kinda method. But in this case since this thing sounded about 10 times bigger than a mouse, I knew I might have to resort to the "Lights Out" approach.

Nancy was at Loblaws so I gave her a call, and told her we might have a visitor. Of course she starts freaking out on the phone. I tell her to grab some glue traps (that's as far as I go with extermination, it gives me one last chance to save them if they aren't TOO stuck) She then reminds me that they have had their own visitor upstairs.

There has been a Raccoon that for some reason has been sleeping its days away outside her window. It doesn't find shelter like normal Raccoons, nope this guy curls up like a ball right over the garage outside her window in plain site. So now I'm starting to wonder if this Raccoon has made its way inside the walls and is now trying to get inside the house. And it didn't help matters that I had seen this video...

At this point thinking its the Raccoon I realize a glue trap is definitely not going to help. I tell her to forget it and hang up the phone.

So now I know that I have to man up, and face this MONSTER once and for all. He needs to know that he does not belong in this house, especially down here... who cares what he does upstairs.

I head over to my desk and prepare for battle, and by battle I mean grabbing my camera, flashlight, head lamp, a recycling box and a drum stick (no not a chicken leg, a real drum stick, god you guys take me for an idiot!)

At this point the CLAWING is getting super loud, but every time I move it stops so pinpointing this BEHEMOTHS location was going to take everything I ever learned in the art of NINJA!

I slowly creep towards the bar and stop once close enough to hear him better. As I stand there, I will not lie, I was terrified. The thought of being behind the bar where there is no room to maneuver and surrounded by glass shelves, having to opening up a cupboard and face this RABID animal with FANGS of STEEL made me a little tense, but I knew this had to be done. If not for my sake, then for the sake of the children living upstairs. And with that in mind I built up enough courage to round the corner and enter the SAVAGE BEASTS new LAIR.

PLEASE BE ADVISED WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE MAY BE

Hello,

I just want to give a quick post to remind everybody that today is GAME 1 of the 2009 STANLEY cup playoffs for your dearly loved Montreal Canadiens. I know most of you don't give a damn about hockey, but just tune in at 7 pm (I believe it's on CBC) and check it out. It SHOULD be a kick ass old school brawl of a game.

I've been so pumped for today it's crazy, haven't been this excited for hockey in a long time. I really hope they don't disappoint, but I'm confident they won't. So if you're bored tonight around 7pm, tune in and jump on the bandwagon.

Recycling Bins

Author's display

I tell ya! The guys that collect recycling bins should be slapped silly! I was on my way to drive Johnny to school and I noticed that the recycling trucks had passed since the recycling bins were turned upside down beside my driveway. I pull out of my driveway and I hear a clunking sound and dragging. As I proceed to check it out, it turns out the recycling moron decided to throw one of the bins right behind my car causing it to get lodged under it. It was stuck there pretty good.... After struggling with it for 5 minutes I managed to move my car back and forth until I freed it.

Anyways that's my excitement for the day...hopefully I have more interesting things to say but at this point, that's all folks!!

P.S. I totally understand what you mean Nels about your Jeep. Tarra and I still talk about Momo and all the memories we had in that car when we were dating...

Call Me Micheal... and my Jeep KITT

Author's display

Hello everyone,

Well now that we have resolved the great 24 spoil of 2009, (Jase, don't worry the big surprises I've hinted at are still unknown to you, but you guys better catch up before someone else does ruin it) I just wanted to make a tiny post about my drive back home.

I left Montreal Tuesday at 1pm. It was a nice visit. Got to spend time with Jay, I even had coffee at Tim Hortons with my dad on Monday (first time drinking from a mug) and saw my cousin Stevie (now that was just depressing) The drive there was smooth. I still had my new winter tires on and since they are smaller than my usual monsters, the Jeep was actually quite agile... well it was actually agile cause I snapped my sway bar awhile back but due to the smaller tires the Jeep was lightning quick. Usually I travel at 120 and can push 130 with some two handed white knuckle driving, but man she was now purring at 150 no prob. It was like a new Jeep... albeit noisier and swirvier.

So The drive back yesterday was smooth. I had my tech podcasts crankin and Salsa sleeping in the back. It was a beautiful day for a drive. I pulled over for gas just before Kingston, went in grabbed a coffee and then headed over to fill up. As I was filling up, a brand new Dodge Caliber pulled up behind me. Some of you know I've been eyeballing the Caliber for some time now. I really like the looks of it, and the specs on the higher end SRT4 are just my thing.

So here I am leaning on my Jeep, checking out the Caliber and wishing I had one, but know I'm just not courageous to go out and get it. So I hop back in my 1993 Black Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 3" lift, that has tried to kill me just as many times as it has saved me. I put my key in the ignition, fire her up and throw it into drive. I pull away from the pump and instantly she starts to putter! 88| I try to rev passed the stalling but realize its not going to work so I pop her into neutral and coast to a parking spot just ahead as the engine dies.

Now this was not something extremely new to me, cause last year I had the same thing happen but it cleared itself up with a few pumps on the pedal. This time however it died. So I sat there trying to start the engine a few times, only taking breaks when ever a good looking woman walked by. I text Jason to tell him what was happening, merely to inform him, cause I knew I was too far for anyone to come to the rescue. I tried starting it a few times but it wasn't catching. I immediately started to think of what could be wrong. Bad Gas? Clogged Fuel Filter? Dead Fuel Pump? I knew it had to be something to do with fuel cause the engine was only cranking and not firing. I tried for over 10 mins and then gave it a few mins to cool off before I tried again, and if that didn't work I was going to grab my big Mag flashlight and commence beating the shit out of my trunk! (little tip, if your fuel pump dies and its located in the gas tank, sometimes a good SHOT can jar it back to life)

So while texting Jason I joked that I had been checking out the Dodge Caliber and maybe the Jeep got jealous. So no joke, I sat in my jeep, rubbing the dashboard, while whispering sweet nothings into its air vent

"Come on baby, you know I love you"

"I swear I was just looking at it, it means nothing to me"

"We've had so many great times you and me, don't it end like this, not now"

And with that, my 1993 Black Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 3" lift, that has tried to kill me just as many times as it has saved me fired up and was ready to kick ass again!

I popped it into reverse and then merged onto the highway (after switching to DRIVE of course) all while continuing to caress the dashboard and whispering PRIVATE sweet nothings to my sweet baby.

There is definitely something special about owning an old car. Its a bond you have that you can never have with a new car. I have shared some deep fond memories with all my cars and its always sad when its time to let them go. Dino had his Honda, Eddie his Firefly and Nissan, Mark his Cordoba, me it was my Pony, Excel and Jeep, and Jason the same Excel and now Cavalier... Its funny the best memories are always the most stressful at the time, but they are memories none the less... Luckily for me this memory won't be about the time me and Salsa had to hitchhike our way to Kingston and sleep on the street until someone came to get us.

So I'm home now, and tomorrow I'm gonna treat my Black Beauty to a car wash, and maybe fix that sway bar... its the least I can do.

(and that my friends is how you make a 15min situation into a full on blog post.. you guys should try it sometime)

I gave very little away in my post...if you watched last week's episode, what I said is a continuation of what you already know. The major plot twist was not revealed. Ok maybe I gave away a little bit but it wasn't intentional...Anyways I will shut up about 24, sorry if I ruined it for you Jase, it was definitely not the objective!

Have fun watching the episode....or whatever is left of it.

In just a few sentences you managed to give away some of 24's major plot twists.

I was literally sitting on the bowl reading your post (didn't notice it last night) when I saw you had ruined the show for those that hadn't watched it, I jumped up and called Jason to warn him not to read your post... but it was too late.

You my friend are a special case. In all my posts about 24 I have never given away a plot point but in one post you gave away 2... luckily they weren't the big one you goof ball.

Ok I'm heading out on the road now...

You poor poor saps that aren't watching 24! You think you're going to be able to catch up but you won't... You're going to have the whole show ruined by a commercial or someone saying something... I know I said it before but HOLY SH!T!!! This show is AWESOME!!! I was watching tonight's episode thinking it was already a good one.. and then the biggest plot twist in 24's history happened and me and my mother both screamed!

God I soo don't want it to end... 5 weeks left!

Oh and Happy Easter!!!
Good seeing you Ed and Liz, Dean I'm still in Montreal so I won't be passing by Monday

Also went to see Fanboys with Jason tonight, pretty funny movie but I think its really cause of the hardcore Geek humor, but was still a funny movie... I think that was the first movie me and my brother have been to alone in like 10 years... we bonded.... he admitted to dabbing in homo-sesual endeavors and frequenting raves just to fulfill his love of massage therapy... I told him I would judge.... but I would blog about his queerness.... it was nice

Greg and Rick are doing well.... I think.... they were celebrating Thanksgiving so we didn't meet up, cause I was celebrating Easter... its soo hard to get our schedules to sync... especially when the other person is using the Mayan Calendar for Holidays. ;)

That's it folks, gonna hit the sack in a bit, got a long drive back home tomorrow. Hope you all had a great Week end filled with Love and Compassion, and celebrated all that Jesus had to go through so that we could live the lives we live today.... Love is all that matters... the rest is a waste of energy...

I LOVE you all

Happy Belated Easter

Author's display

Hi Everyone,

Happy belated Easter to everyone and happy Passover Mark! Tarra and I just finished watching 24 and I have to say the season has progressed to something a little more exciting. I like the Tony twist and I don't want to give it away but the fact that Jack is dying and they really make it look like he will die, makes you wonder how is he going to get out of dying this time.

I also was able to watch the last episode of ER. After I spoke to Nelson, I did some research and was able to circumvent the issue I was having with NBC's site. I was able to trick the servers into believing my IP was an American IP and then was able to view ER. I like the way they brought the characters back and it was nice seeing Noah Wylie back in action. The ending was great and I will definitely miss that show. I want to buy the series but 15 box sets will cost a pretty penny!

Anyhow, talk to u guys later

Alive and Well

Author's display

It has been ages since I have posted and I know that Nelson will give me crap for not posting however I thought it was about time I post something. Plus I dont want to loose my spot as the number 3 blogger on this here blog.

Tarra and I are also huge fans of ER. We used to tune in every Thursday and watch, from the days of Eric Lasalle, George Clooney and then Noah Wyle...we are very sad that the show has ended. We didn't get a chance to tune in for the finale, I guess we will have to get the last season and watch it from beginning to end. We caught a few episodes at the beginning of the season but haven't been tuning in every week like you Nelson. So I guess it doesn't make us die hard fans but it still makes us fans. It is nice having those memories and I am sure you will take those memories of you and your family watching ER every Thursday with you for the rest of your life.

We were in Montreal last night for a birthday party. My cousin's daughter turned 4 and we drove to Laval for the party, then drove back home late last night. 2am to be exact! So needless to say I am a little tired and will take a little nap. Nice hearing from all of you and maybe Jason can give us a take on how the season will end for the Habs after they took out the Leafs 6-2 last night.

Ciao!

Author's display

Um Hi,

I'm Nelson, the founder of this here blog....

It used to be quite a special blog really, different from all the other blogs out there, one of a kind you could say. But as of recent months it has fallen into the same category as all the other Blogs. We used to have multiple people posting here regularly but that stopped. Now its come down to me posting something and sometimes my posts would get a response from Eddie (GOD bless his gentle heart) as well as a post here and there from Sheree (our resident hottie) but the rest of the people have disappeared.

So I urge you all (one of you) to sign up for an account and post something. I'll even put my email address out so that you can ask for instructions on how to post if you can't figure it out.... And if you are a woman.... I'll give out my phone number... a hot woman.... I'll give you my address and draw a diagram to where I keep my spare key....

That is all....

The End

Author's display

Well I just finished watching the ER finale and I'm really happy with how it ended. I think it might just be the best finale I've ever seen. They didn't do any stupid gimmicks (ie: Seinfeld going to Jail) and even though it didn't really end, it really did bring closure to the past 15 years. Its something that I'll always look at as helping to mold who I am today, and as heavy as the subject matters were and how some story lines hit closer to home for my family, I really think it has given us a better understanding of what we were up against and how to somewhat deal with it.

You can't say that for much of the crap on the Boob Tube now a days.

I'll have many fond memories of my Thursdays, and tonight while sitting there with my sister I found myself zoning out and traveling back to visit them, and one day I'll remember today.

Bon Nuit
