Ed, You did say "Totally" totally one too many times, but I just figure you're totally excited to be posting so the only way to convey that emotion is by emphasizing your sentences with Totally over the top usages of the word "Totally" (GOD! that was probably the hardest sentence I ever wrote... Totally)
So I had a hell of a day today... Mark worked a short shift this morning so he passed by afterword's. We went to go see Andy at work for a bit, then we came home and I managed to get him to try the game ARMY OF TWO. This was around 4pm... its now 1am and we just finished playing. Never in my wildest dreams would I imagine playing a video game for 9hrs with Mark!!! We did take breaks but still, Mark has never been known to like playing games, but he was loving this one. His favorite aspect (I shit you not) was running around and collecting the Bullets that the bad guys dropped when we killed them. He would run from behind cover in the middle of a huge firefight just to grab 1 bag of bullets... it was pretty funny.
It took awhile for him to warm up to the controls, and that's understandable cause the last time Mark played a video game the controller had 2 buttons and a direction pad, now for really the first time he was forced to use the direction pad, 2 thumb sticks and 8 buttons! So there was a lot running around shooting at walls.... while looking for bullets.
But once he got going he was a bad ass with the artillery.. he was sniping and tossing grenades like a pro... well semi pro but pro non the less.
It was fun, he had to talk himself into stopping and heading home to bed but I think I might have a new gaming partner for when Jason and Ed aren't around... one can dream can't they....
So now I'm going to plop down and try to get my eyes to stop seeing crosshairs and bullets whizzing by and tomorrow I'll be checking the paper to see if anyone got fragged at the airport for pissing off a ticket agent.... that then stole their bag in search of bullets
