Was up all!!!

Once again I don't load this place up for a while and BOOM, enough post's that I have to hit the next page button to get caught up. Nels, this place is isn't going anywhere anytime soon man, it's only normal for it to slow down a bit every now and then. Don't make me remind you how long we went after the new year without so much as a word from you.

I've been keeping busy as usual, I'm on a Windows XP training course through work. Yup, XP, that wasn't a typo...lol. That was actually quite misleading, the course turned out to be quite interesting covering many advanced networking topics that while inherently built into or compatible with XP, are not actually XP topics. None of the stuff is new to me but it was a good refresher. So that's what I've been doing, nothing too exciting but now your all caught up...lol.

I love the Pam pics, thats two things that I didn't know about that flick, that Pam was in it and that it was filmed in Mtl. I now know that I'll have to watch that obviously horrible movie just for those two reasons alone.

I was getting caught up on a few episodes of InDigital and they mentioned at the end on one of the episodes that they had lost a friend (James Kim) and had a little memorial video. Wow, what a story, apparently it was front page news early this year, can't believe I missed that. I remember watching his Lab Rat segments on The Screen Savers, he was good at his job. Really sad story, he was only 35, really got me thinking about making the most of my life. Starting tomorrow!!! Just sitting at home today with Johnny, we are both sick with some wicked gastro intestinal flu (I thought I would put that in there to grosse you out). It's not that bad, I was just exagerating a little. Anyhow, Nels I have been guilty of not visiting you too often in Toronto but I have to see that I can say the same for the amount of visits I have had in O-town from anyone. The two guys that are of the same genetic makeup, have not visited since a forced reunion last year in April, and that was without one of them. So I share your bitterness and fustration but I think your Kingston suggestion is a good one.

Sheree, congrats on your full time position! A foot in the door is a foot in the right direction! Before you know it, you'll be permanent. Tell your boyfriend that his brother is lonely without him and he should post about his exciting life, and visit him sometime soon before he has a meltdown.

I love Pam from the office. She's so cute and funny. And now she's a hottie!! So I'm guessing the movie takes place in Montreal...

I started a temporary FULL TIME (!!!) teaching job a couple of weeks ago, and it ended up being much more temporary than I was hoping! But at least it's a foot in the door at that school, and the principal is really nice. Back to loungin' around the house in my pajamas all day...(yesssssss!!!!)

Why is it that when I do most of the posting everyone disappears, but as soon as I stop posting, everyone comes on here asking what happened to me??? I'm only 1 person out of a group of 6 or 7. I'm the one with nothing going on in my life yet I manage to put something (no matter how stupid) on here.

Take Jason for example, He never post, and when he does its to tell us how busy he's been. I can vouch for him. He was so busy that he couldn't come visit us on his spring break last week. So busy he couldn't come down last weekend for his ONLY nieces birthday. The way its going, visiting Toronto is becoming a yearly thing. Or something you do when you break your hand and need to make extra money for a trip you're planning....

Actually I see a sort of pattern now.... The "TOP POSTERS" is actually showing us who's the biggest losers and who's the busiest person on here. So by the looks of it I'M the Biggest Loser with the most time to post.... And Greg would be the busiest with 1 post to his name. Well even though Eddie is up there on the Being too busy scale, I can't complain, he has visited me pretty much the most in the past 9yrs of being here. I don't know why, but he's a TRUE TRUE Friend.... Unlike the 2 guys that are supposed to look the same cause they fell from the same crotch.... (no Names)

Ok maybe its cause its 6am, I've had a drink or two and the cough medicine is kicking in but I swear i pissing myself laughing right now....

This is one of those stories I wish I could tell you all in person because its one I would tell with the PASSION!!!

So I've been Rocking the PLENTY OF FISH site hard. I keep getting messages, mostly telling me my profile is funny, and then the odd one like to continue talking, while most just disappear after a few message exchanges. Some Hott some Nott

Well I was starting to get frustrated by all the chicks that think they were too good to write losers like me. So I started writing stupid notes to them just to get some reaction out of them. Nothing crazy just shit like "I like the color of your Walls/Carpet" or "Reading your profile makes me realize how little I've accomplished in life" (I write that to the chicks that have shit like "I like to Party" written in their profile)

So anyways at around 5am on Tuesday I wrote one good looking girl. In her profile she said something about wanting to meet a nice guy with old fashioned values. So I wrote her a nice message saying that you don't see that too often and it was cool.

So I went to sleep and woke up later that day to find she wrote back. Anyways we messaged back and forth until she told me to call her at around 6pm. Oh and in the messages she mentioned she had a shit day cause she had gotten into a fender bender on her way to pay a ticket. (sounds like her luck was a s good as mine)

Around 5pm I went out to the store. Then at 6:03 I called her. She picked up and as soon as I said Hi, she said "Hold on I'm washing a Pan!" I laughed and waited. She came back and said I was 3 mins late. I was flattered that my call meant so much that she timed me.

So for the next while she talked.... I listened. She went on and on about her accident and how her back was hurting. I told her to get it checked out just in case. At this point out of no where..... She says (I kid you not) "Can I call you back, I'm about to Break Down" I was like, "um ya, thanks for the warning, I'll, um... be around if you.... I guess if you Need?? me." she already starting to cry I guess says thanks and hangs up.

So now I'm like this chick is WACKED with a capitol F.

I start driving home when I hear my buddy JOE has gone AWALL. So I decide to go look for him. I start driving and the chick calls back. She tells me she called her friends mom (her own mother passed away when she was a kid) and the mom said she should go see a doctor. So now that the mom said too, she was going to go. I was like ok thats cool, good idea, have fun I guess. (the usual shit I say when I don't care)

So of course knowing me for all of 30mins she keeps me on the phone through the process of getting dressed, while telling me her father hasn't talked to her in ages, then I got to hear her get into her car, and drive to the clinic. I also was on the phone when she found out the clinic was closed. So I got to hear her scream and swear.(at no one cause it was closed)

Now, so as not to seem completely cold hearted, before she left I had asked her if there was anyone around to drive her to the doctor cause it might not be the best idea to be driving around at night with a sore back you got from a car accident earlier that day. She told me she had no one, so I DID offer to drive her but she said no.

So now she's on her way to a different clinic. The whole way there she's screaming at people on the street that "can't drive" and so I finally remind her that it was funny that she was complaining when she was the one that crashed today... I had too... she deserved it

So finally she get to the place and its open. She goes inside all freaked out and stressed and emotional cause her "life sucks" and ask me if she can call me later. I say "SURE, Anytime"

So I'm driving along and start thinking about how her day was shitty and she had no one around to help her..... so I sent her a text message asking if she wanted to go for coffee. She didn't get back to me about that so whatever. A few mins later she called and told me she had a long wait so she was going to be sitting there waiting (go figure)

I said "Ok where are you? I'll come by and keep you company" She was like "Really" "Sure" i said and she told me where she was....

Ok this story got a lot longer then I wanted...

ANYHOOOO

I showed up at this clinic, which I was very surprised to find out was in the back of a Shoppers Drug Mart. I called to tell her I was there and she came to the front to meet me. Ok so now you guys want the description of her looks but honestly the girl was at the doctors, not expecting to see a guy, and was having a shit day so it wouldn't be fair to judge her based on that.... (nuff said)

We walked to the back where the clinic was and I could tell she was a bit more shy now then she was on the phone when she was acting like a moron. She sat down int he waiting room where there were about 8 other people. They had some nice Pamphlets and a TV playing a video about Menopause and Constipation in a loop. (I learned a lot that night about the large intestine and Vaginal walls... and that was just from the good bye Kiss!!) Hey Hey Hoo Hoo [that was my Rodney Dangerfield impersonation]

So we're sitting in the waiting room and she starts acting like a 3yr old, complaining about it taking too long and that her back was hurting... so to ease the situation I say out loud "THIS IS THE BEST FIRST DATE E..V..E..R!!!!" Everyone in the room looks over and I just smile at her with a twinkle in my eyes. She goes red and tells me to shut up.

Finally she gets called in and I get up to go with her. She asks me where I'm going. I say "I'm coming in there with you. There's a good chance your cloths are gonna come off in there and I wanna be around to take pictures for our Christmas card" She calls me a nerd and makes me sit back down....

So at this point walk out and call Mark. He asks me how its going and I tell him whats up. I ask him if it would be really bad if I left while she was in there. Of course he said yes it would be bad. (prick)

So after waiting another 30mins she walks out and tells me she has to do therapy. So we walk out and I tell her to get some rest. She says thanks for hanging out, and comes up to give me a hug. I lightly put my arms around her and tell her that I don't want to hurt her, as i give her a extremely light hug.

I walk to my Jeep, get in and immediately think about how to tell this one to you guys....

I may not date often.. but man when I do.... I do it with style.....
A date at the walk in clinic..... One for the books baby... one for the books

Don't get defensive about the government. I know they pay your paychecks but don't let that cloud your judgment that it's THE GOVERNMENT!!! No one likes them. Don't let "THE MAN" brainwash you dude!!!

On a side note....

I could go for some Stirfry now. I'll be sure to add that to my yearly Online Grocery List.

Guess who I just spoke too?? Liana!!! Yes Liana from St. Monica's. I just got off the phone with her. She says hi to you and whats his face brother of yours. I swear when I heard her voice I got all weird and shit. Her voice was exactly the same as back in elementary school. For those that don't know, Liana was THE girl of the era for me. Rick had Erin & Shannon (shannon I think) Greg had Lindsey & Valerie and I had Liana and a few others... (I Played the field back then) But as we were reminiscing just now I came to the conclusion that I was a messed up kid. I mean we did some heavy heavy shit back then, shit that if your kids sis it you would kill them. But its nice to be reminded that I was the First of many things for someone.... She told me about all the people that were married, and all that great stuff. I told her I was single and tonight I was goign to go buy Booze and drink my sorrows away..... again

As for the Supreme Court case, it was fascinating and I can now say I have been to the Supreme Court of Canada. You can say whatever you want about the government's position on Big Tobacco, you are stubborn and will just argue me anyway!

As for your day in court, I actually heard about your thing on the radio today. Sounds fascinating. Its amazing the lengths the government will go to to look like its not in bed with Big Tobacco. I'm sooooo sure that something is going to be done that will one day halt all cigarette sales. Eh at least you can say you got to visit the supreme court...

WOW, I just came up with the next reality TV segment where 10 former smokers battle it out in a house. I can just picture 10 crabby bastards, snapping at each other and sweating profusely while trying to get through all the withdrawals and side effects of quitting. They go through food challenges to fulfill their food cravings while substituting cigarettes with their choice of NRT (Nicotine Replacement Therapy for you non-government workers). However, the producers throw in a few curve balls and tempt the ex-smokers with tobacco products or depictions of tobacco products.... The winner of the show would be the first person to successfully quit without succumbing to the temptation of tobacco products.... maybe I should contact Mark Burnett! The ideas keep flowing...

Anyhow, back to reality... not much going on except for the fact that I went to the Supreme Court of Canada and attended a court case we have ongoing against the Tobacco Manufacturers. It was amazing to be in a room with 9 Supreme Court Judges who have the most power in Canada. There is no way anyone could appeal the Supreme Court... if you go to their website, you will see the room I was in on their home page, it was pretty cool taking part of history. The court will render its decision within a year, I was talking to one of the ladies and apparent they have 215 volumes of documents to go through, no wonder it takes them a year to render a decision.

Well I am off to watch some of my shows. The weather report from Ottawa is simply, TOO DAMN COLD!!! Talk to you all later!

2 weeks no smokes... I crave it but just because i like it so much, but not having any nic fits. Haven't really been in a smoking environment but whatever, not really worried. As far as the company asking for reparations, what ever man, tell em to F off, you lost control and spun out, lets not forget the fact that HE HIT YOU! anyways, rule 1 when I was in driving school was its a drivers responsibility to avoid ANY obstacles in front of him. If he couldn’t avoid you then HE was going too fast to be safe considering the road conditions. Whatever, just stick to your guns and F'em up...lol. Hey Nels, hers a thought, instead of wasting precious keystrokes giving me shit you should a posted an update to that story, cant leave us hanging like that. Was there damage to the Jeep? Rick, as for your question, you pretty much answered it yourself when you said you wanna play games. Sure you can load Windows on a Mac using Parallels or Boot Camp but if you’re always going to be booting Windows then there’s no point, save some money and stick with a PC. If WOW is your thing there’s a Mac version of that but game support is definitely a little lacking on the Mac. That said I’m going to be switching to a Mac when this laptop needs replacing. Mac’s aren’t plagued with the virus and spy ware junk that Windows users have to deal with but I haven’t had an infection on my system for years so to me that’s not that important. Look into OS X, do some homework, if you think the OS is something you’d be interested in then sure, get one but don’t do it cause it’s the “in” thing to do. That’s what’s wrong with those commercials, makes people think the Mac is something better. Is it better, no, it’s just different. Didn’t you just build that PC anyways?

My beloved Logitech mouse just started doing the one click is a double click thing that almost every mouse I’ve ever owned eventually gets plagued with, fuk I love this thing and don’t wanna buy another one yet. Nels or Jase, you guys ever fix one a theses before? Know any good places to buy the clicking mechanism thingy that I’m sure is the problem?

P.S. Played WOW for the first time last night at a friends place, downloading a 10 day free trial now, ah shit, what am I getting myself into…lol.

Eh this wouldn't be a Nelson Story if I didn't have an unbelievable twist....

I woke up Wednesday with a voice mail and a text message sitting on my phone.

The Voice mail was from the trucking company of the 18 wheeler that slid out, and it was some guy saying that there was damages to the truck and they wanted to speak to me.....
So this should be a fun few days coming up...

And the text message.... Well at this point Dino was the only one that knew what I was up too. I was up in Niagara seeing one of the girls Mark and I had gone to see a fews months back.... So I drove up there through the worst weather of the season for a little rendezvous....

Today I get a text message from her saying that (and I Quote) "Hey Gorgeous, I got complicated news. No Joke. That guy ive been seeing on and off 4 a bit told me 2day he wants it 2 b exclusive." she goes on to tell me the timing is wrong and blah blah blah the usual crap....

So there ya have it.... Another episode of Pulling a Nelson.... Honestly I could give a rats ass about the chick, she's more of a hassle then anything, the thing that bugs me.....

Dean.... so far the Year of the SEVEN is going no different then the Year Of The Six... And that wasn't such a great Year....

That's a nutty story. Thank God you were lucky last night. I've only been in 1 car accident but it was scary enough. I was driving home from work at midnight after a 12 hour shift. The weather was pretty bad, so I decided to do the responsible thing and take the city streets and not the highway. So here I am around the old port, driving along carefully leaving Sheree a voice message, when I see a CRV coming at me at an intersection and he wasn't stopping. He had a red light, but the conditions were so bad, he hit the breaks and the car wouldn't stop. He slammed into my passenger side back tire and I spun maybe 2 times, almost hitting a parked tractor and light pole. Luckily nobody was hurt, but it scared the bejesus out of me. The scary party is on the message I was leaving Sheree, she heard the whole thing, including the FU- I said as I was hanging up. It's crazy how our lives can change like that. Luckily everyone is okay, and hopefully you learned your lesson. I gotta get back to studying. Have a nice day.

Well I had a good post ready for tonight but something happened that sort of over shadows the days events. I know I preach alot and most of the time I'm just stirring the pot trying to get a reaction by talking out of my ass (like the smoking post) but this one is me being 100% serious. I know I'm not the one to change minds or make anyone "aware" but I guess this is more for my brother and Sheree but it doesn't hurt for us Older Know It Alls.

If any of you watched the news Tuesday Night you might have heard that the areas around Toronto had their biggest Snow fall of the year. (and no not the over exaggerated 5cm) it was actually alot (70cm in Hamilton)

Well sure enough I was in that area last night. I drove down just as it was starting and I guess cause there was so much Traffic the drive wasn't that bad cause it was so slow.

The Drive home at 2am was a different story.....

I got on the Highway and it was horrible. I mean I could NOT see literally 1/2 foot in front of me most of the time. I drove and kept thinking I wanted to pull over but at ever exit I would say "ok I'll pull off at the next one" But being stupid I just kept moving on. Now as stupid as I am, I wasn't speeding, I was going 40 or less most stretches, around curves I would pretty much crawl through. There was no cars anywhere around me only the odd Tractor Trailer, which I was happy to see cause they would pass me and give me an idea of where the road was.

Anyways Long drive short..... Since I was the only car on the road, I tried to stay in the center of the road so that I had more room to sway while trying to see ahead. At one point I saw a Truck coming behind me so I did what I had been doing and put my Right Flasher on and started to pull over to let him by....

At that exact moment as I was pulling over the wind blew a ton of snow from the shoulder in front of me and I was blinded.... within seconds of it clearing up up I saw that I had pulled too far over and was about to go off the road.... All of a sudden my right wheels grabbed the snow bank on the should and I spun out.....

You hear people say "It all happened in slow motion" and honestly it did.... If I were looking at it from the outside view I would probably say it looked like a MATRIX sequence with the revolving slo-mo camera.

My Jeep spun out towards the right, but at the same time I felt my passenger side lift in the air as if I was about to roll over, while spinning.... I guess there was too much snow on the drivers side to let me roll over so the Jeep landed back on its wheels but kept spinning until I did almost a 360.... the front of my Jeep was perpendicular to the road.... There was so much snow that I couldn't see anything, but just as I stopped spinning I thought about the Tractor Trailer that was behind me.... I screamed out F**** as loud as I could and I just felt that thing come flying by me!!! It didn't hit me but I swear I felt him skim my bush bars and the whole Jeep shook as he did. I turned my wipers on to see and I saw another car coming towards me Fast... so I slammed on the gas to get out of the way and all I saw was a Bronco Sliding sideways past me and finally stopping just before hitting the tractor trailer that I now saw had Jack Knifed because of me....

I pulled over to the shoulder and ran up to the Jack knifed truck and so did the guy in the Bronco. An older man came out and I asked if was ok.... he said he was fine and asked how we were. We both said we were fine and the guy in the Bronco ran back to his car to get out of the was cause there were more cars coming... I went with the trucker to check his truck and he was totally cool. He said in a French accent "You have da Problems and then I have da Problems" I said "ya, that was beyond luck just now" He told me to get back in my Jeep and to get out before another accident happened, so I ran back to my car and wrote down my name for him and took off......

The rest of the drive was horrible, and I did pull off to check the Jeep to make sure it was safe to Drive the rest of the way, and besides maybe needing an alignment it was fine (but we'll see in daylight how it really is)

So as I'm sure you can imagine I was pretty shaken up after all that. I mean the feeling I had when I realized the tractor was behind me about to hit my drivers door was something I never hope to feel again.... but seriously it was my stupidity that put me there. I should have just pulled the F*** over, thrown on my Hazards and waited it out.... Christ I could have just stopped at a Timmies read a paper and when the sun was out I could have continued.... But like every other moron I decided I could do the drive as long as I was "Safe" the stupid thing is that with Mother Nature you have absolutely no control over being safe or not. I know, I know, I'm talking stupid and all that but seriously, I see some people driving in shit weather and because they have a 4x4 they think they can go fast as they want cause they have an SUV.... well I saw just as many SUV's in the ditches as I did cars. Even 18 wheelers where in ditches and spun around and they weigh thousands more than an SUV.... And even if your careful all it takes is someone else to loose control to start something..... Man when I saw the Bronco Sliding towards the trailer I caused to swerve my heart fell to my stomach.... if anything would have happened..... fuck me.....

So anyways... be careful guys, seriously we all think we're good drivers, we all have funny stories about crashing into this or that, but man when other people are involved its soooo different.....

The weird thing is that on the way up there I actually spoke to Dino and text Eddie for the first time in ages.... and not to get too grim but, dudes... that could have been our last conversations..... And I kid you not.... While all this was happening.... I was listening to "I've Been Looking For Freedom" god that's sooo not a way to go.....

I have recently been offered a temporary full-time position at Gardenview School. I'll be working with another teacher who has recently had back surgery and needs help around the classroom. I don't know if I'll actually be taking on much of the teaching, or if I'm just going to be her little b*tch, but either way, it's a full-time position that will hopefully last a good amount of time (and if long enough I can get a contract and work my way to a permanent job.) I'm quite excited...the only thing that sucks is that I'll be missing a trip to Toronto next weekend that Jason and I were planning. I haven't been there in so long and I miss everybody!!!

So its 1 week down..... no biggie, nothing crazy. I have to say though Dino, that first off..... Its easy to quit, anyone that says its hard is full of shit. Very simple... you never light up again.... No one places the cigarette in your mouth and then lights its, then inhales it for you.... So anyone (including myself) that "falls off the wagon" obviously didn't want to quit in the first place. And for the record.... I'm not quiting cause I finally saw the health risks, or any of that. Again, anyone that denies the health risks.... they're stupid.... plain and simple. Smoking kills, Yes I know this, I don't need pics on the packs, or commercials with people preaching outside the tabacco companies.... Its common sense.... Ask a fireman what kills the majority or people in a fire.... SMOKE!!! Would you puff on your cars Muffler to take the edge off.... No cause its SMOKE!!! So again, everyone knows smoking is bad for you. But.... its ohhh soooo good.... I love smoking, I miss smoking, sitting here typing this without one is like having my balls in a vice... having my morning (more like afternoon) coffee without one is depressing, I can list more cons to quitting then Pro.... but the key to quitting..... Its what Pros you have.... For a guy like me to quit cause its not healthy, thats just bullshit, cause I'd quit for that, and just pig out on junk food, so one cancels out the other... we all have our reasons for doing shit... Tony quit when Christian was born, Mark quit cause he got scared off by a smokers cough... I quit for my reasons, and Ed will or has quit for his. Maybe it'll take a few tries, maybe not, But I'm marking it on here, that I quit, I'm not a smoker, and I'm doing it for my reasons... ask me in a year and maybe I tell ya.... but most probably not.... Now if you don't mind I have to go bite my dogs finger nails.... I just finished my last toenail so I'm gonna have to wait a few weeks for mine to grow back again.....

I thought I would chime in and give my two cents about smoking seeing as I smell tobacco products all day and have them locked up in my cabinet in my cubicle. I wanted to tell you Nels that I am extremely happy to see that you are quitting because I believe if you are able to do it then anyone can. I say that because I know that you were a hardcore smoker and how you wanted to quit in the past but just werent able to. One thing I learned is that quitting tobacco is not easy... less than 5% of smokers a year can quit. Just think that you would be part of the elite group of 5% that could overcome one of the most addictive drugs on the market. I am not wishing you luck because it has nothing to do with it, however the fact that you have considered the health complications that would be present had you continue to smoke for twenty or more years is a great! Ed I am glad to see that you have quit again and sometimes it takes severals times before you can do it but it can be done and good for you! Rick, you are now the loner and outcast of the smokeless sticky fingers, its time you join the club and quit!!!

Well I was approached by my boss last Friday about a work opportunity in April. He wants me to go down to the Quebec Regional office which is in Montreal and spend 3 days a week working from that office for a minimum of one month and realistically 2 months. The reason he chose me as opposed to my co-worker is because I am the only person that has the enforcement background which I bring over from my last job. So I am going to accept the assignment and that means I will be living out of a hotel for 2 months in Montreal, I smell lots of parties with the Stickyfingers!!! Nels, hopefully you can come down and party with us when you get a chance. Ed I know you would be working but maybe you could join us on a Friday night or something.

I am up to 125 pushups a day and I am still doing the bike 3-4 times a week. I have not weighed myself but the pounds are coming off. I am making that public so that I stick to it, who knew this blog would have this many purposes!!! Ciao for now!

Nice Nels, the first week is easily the hardest man but your far from being outa the woods. Just stick with it, don't be as stupid as me, breaking 10 weeks in, what the hell was I thinking!!! Too funny man, Just before reading the newest posts I was thinking about quitting again, smoked my last cigarette and hid all the smoking paraphernalia. So here it is, I'm going public with it before making it through a day...lol. I have a week’s worth of patches so that’s a start, how’s the gum? Does it actually help?

I forgot the Detox thing..... Yes I've decided to finally give up the ol C-sticks. I'm making it public so that I have more reason to stick to it. (if I don't say anything then no one would ever know if I just started up again) So I really am sticking with it. Been almost a week, the worst is over, now that the detox is over, its just dealing with the habit. But the funny thing is that I decided to use the gum to help out.... well I now know the last time I was planning on quitting... 2002... I know this cause thats when the gum expired!!! Been on a health kick with push ups and sit ups, and eating healthy. I figured maybe 3 or 4 New Years resolutions later I might be at the weight I want to be at. Oh well, I could always try, right?

Nelson, consider yourself lucky if you are currently unemployed (which I don't know is true) because it really is a pain in the ass to walk to a bus stop in -40 weather only to sit on the bus and have a 300 pound woman sit next to you and push her way into the seat and squish you like a patty. It was great! What a comfortable ride that was!

Work is going great, my boss told me he might be leaving. I guess I must have this effect on managers....anyhow, he told me that he thought myself and my coworker could compete for his job. The thing is, my co-worker is younger and has no management experience but has been there longer. It's going to be interesting to see who gets the position if my manager leaves but either way I really like what I am doing. I actually enjoy going into work everyday (minus the bus ride).

I'm having issues with the Rogers HD digital setup, not technical trouble but actually getting the box in the house. They want to come in and put another wall plug before they give me a second box and I can’t give up the other one or there goes TV in the other room. I don’t believe that a spliter wont do the trick so I’m gonna try to get my hands on a SD rogers box then bring back this rental for an HD box... Ah well, SD will do for now but I'm on the case... The main thing I'm looking into now is better sound cause stereo just isn’t cutting it no more, not after the taste of sound I get while visiting a few people I know...

So what is up? I myself, contrary to what it may seem like have been doing F-all. Unless you count loading my Arcade up with anything I can trow at it.... (WHO KNEW COLECOVISION WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!) And that's about all I've been up too. I responded to some posts in my last one but I have no clue what I said, but one thing I remember is Dino's PREDICTION POST. I have to say D, that no word of a lie, that night after reading your post, I woke up in a cold sweat after having a nightmare. In it, I was taking a shower.... Ok that's scary enough but there's more.... I took a shower then when I got out and went to dry my hair. As I was standing in front of the mirror I noticed something was weird about my hair. It looked fine from the front but then I tilted my head down and saw that I WAS COMPLETELY BALD on top!!!! At that point I woke up breathing heavy and touching the head to make sure I was ok... then I touched my hair and it was good. Ya me with a Friar Tuck Do is not a pretty site. I feel for you Bald guys... The day it happened to you must have been a rough day....

Also to chime in on the PC talk.... Wouldn't ya know it but I gone done got me a New Computer... Right now I am typing this in Safari.... and for those that don't know what that is.... Its the Web Browser that comes with APPLES! Yup I'm a Mac guy now. Everything on my desktop is White as Snow, and oh sooo Pretty!

Ok I'm sorta Bullshitting, nothing is white but I do have a Mac.... And XP.... and Vista... all one one computer. I must give credit where it is deserved.. I did not do this on myself... I'd like to throw out a thank you to the guys at HACKYOURMAC.com and LiveMACstrong.org for doing it all for me..... Ok ok... Jason did it.... The kid does know a thing or two about this stuff (thanks to his Sensei..)
When I was in MTL for Xmas, I decided it was time to get something new instead of upgrading what I had. So since I've never had someone build me a computer I decided... I MADE Jason do it for me. He ordered all the parts and built it all up. Then he read somewhere that OSX (Apple Operating System) could be installed with my MotherBoard, so he spent a full week trying.... Trust me I never thought it would happen cause of the problems I saw him running into, but the day we saw that Apple Logo load up on the screen you should have seen his face.... It was like he was seeing Boobs for the first time (Sheree, I'll make the face for you and you tell me if its the one he makes... when he finally See's your Golden Globes)
So ya, I have 3 operating systems on this thing and I have no clue which one I should use... Like having 3 dicks.... Think about that... sounds like fun but in reality.... Not So Much.
