Up for Some Air

Author's display

Hi all! It's really good to see some action on here and if my count is correct it would be my turn to say a little something. So ya, not much new to talk about over here except for well maybe... MY NEW BABY BOY!!!

This last week has been by far the craziest, most tiring, scariest and most amazing week of my life thus far. We have been home for almost a week now and both baby and mommy are doing great! Little guy was actually born with a broken collar bone (my theory is that it happened when he slipped and they caught him like a football). Apparently a broken clavicle in birth is not that uncommon and there is nothing to be done for it, heals up fully within a week or two on its own and I can tell it’s not bothering him like it first was but it made for a challenging few first days at home.

I was actually going to post from the hospital’s WIFI but then this happened. Nudity and Risque, looks like the hospital thinks we’re pornographic or something...lol.

So ya, I gotta cut this short, gonna go change a diaper or something :)

Later all,
Ed.

BASTARD!!!

Author's display

I finally have a night to sit here and do nothing but write and as I'm typing away in Notepad, I go to refer to a previous post only to find DINO beat me to the punch!

Great minds think alike!

Well now that Dino has posted I figure he bought me a week or two before I have to send mine in, so I'll try to make it juicy.

Enjoy his post and I'll be back soon.... And D... It so nice to hear you enjoy the Runs! I myself have the runs quite often, but I have yet to say I enjoy them... its the mess and smell that gets to me I think.

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

PS: I know our schedules are full, and we sometimes like to talk TV here but some of us miss out the talked about show, so lets get together for a special one...
Thursday night on ABC at 9PM (check local listings) why not watch the NEW sure to be hit ROOKIE BLUES!!! I have a vested interest in this one (aswell as Tony) cause I worked on it. From what I saw while filming and now the commercials this one has potential. So do Tony a favor and check it out, (I say Tony cause he's about to have a new mouth to feed)
I've never really push one of our shows but this one really does look good. So check it out!!! It could just be your summertime love affair! Also if you look closely... you just might see our very own T-Bone riding shot gun in an episode or two

The wedding, the baby, what's next?

Author's display

Glad to see someone is writing on this blog. Jason, we had a blast at the wedding and I have to say that you guys had some unique ideas that I really liked. For example, the kodak camera you set up for us to take our picture before we greeted you guys in line, was a genius idea. I am sure you guys had hours of laughter when looking at the numerous pictures of people not expecting the second and third picture (me included!). Jason I know exactly what you mean when you first saw Sheree walk down the aisle. When we got married, I was speechless and in awe when I first saw Tarra walk down. I remember turning to Greg and saying "Wow she's beautiful" A memory you will never forget. We had some good entertainment at our table and it was nice to get to know Lauri a little better.

Ed and Liz, congrats on baby Mathew! Johnny and I are looking forward to seeing him soon! We will give you some time to settle in, as I know how hectic the first few weeks can be. Get as much sleep as you can, you looked pretty tired in those facebook pics.

What's new in my life? Well, I decided 5 weeks ago that I would take my health seriously and start working out. I jog 4 to 5 times a week and I have introduced push ups and sit ups on a daily basis. The results are starting to show, I have lost weight and my clothes are finally fitting the way they should. My goal is to run my first 5km race before the end of the summer. Next year, I will tackly the 10 km Ottawa race. Right now, I am able to do around 3km each time I run but I know that if I stop and then start again I could probably do the 5km run right now. It's not how you start but how you finish...something like that. Either way, I am enjoying my runs. It's challenging for me and I guess that's why I am having fun with it.

Our house is still not sold. We decided to sell our house privately at the beginning but it just wasn't going the way we planned so we hired a real estate agent this week and we should sell shortly. Can't wait to get that over with!

Anyhoo, hope everyone is doing well. It would be nice to hear from some of you! I know we are all busy lately but if we make an effort we can keep this blog going.

Ciao

D

Weeeee're baaack!

What up people? I just got to work about 20 minutes ago and I'm waiting for my outlook to download all my emails off the server. As of right now I'm at 200 unread emails, but they're still coming in. Can't wait!!!

I just wanted to say that Sheree and I had a great time on our honey moon. It was a little tiring because we did a lot of walking (and other stuff (I LIKKKE, IZZZ GOOD)) but it was the perfect finish to the crazy wedding planning.

I was hoping to have some feedback from people after the wedding, but I guess that's asking too much from the writers on this web log.

My thoughts on the wedding. It was a lot of fun for me, I hope it was for everyone else. The ceremony was great, Father Ray did an amazing job!!! When I first saw Sheree at the end of the aisle, I literally stopped breathing and said "holy shit". She was the most breath taking bride ever, i was in awe. I tried to get myself ready for that moment but It was waaay more intense then I could have imagined. Surprisingly both her and I kept our cool during the ceremony (for most of it anyway). I think it helped that we had the rehearsal 2 nights earlier were we practiced the vows.

The actual party at the Hall was a little more rushed then we would've liked and Sheree and I didn't get to do our thank you speech so I'll do it now. THANK YOU everyone for coming. It meant so much to her and I that you guys could all make it, and made the party what it was.

I guess that's it for now. I'll see you all very soon. Keep the pictures coming on facebook please :)
